It is
generally accepted that as we get older our sleep
patterns tend to change, but often lack of sleep is a
signal that there are other issues in our lives that are
taking over our thought processes and preventing the much
required healing sleep. During
consultation we will examine your lifestyle and establish
the cause and effect of any issues that may be affecting
your ability to take restful sleep. You will have the
opportunity to learn self hypnosis and you will also
experience guided visual imagery. Relaxation techniques
will be a key component of this therapy. Most people
can easily learn self hypnosis and will soon find that it
can aide restful sleep. However, if the underlying
reasons for not sleeping are deep rooted you may require
further therapy sessions. As with all my hypnotherapy
sessions you will be given a Free Support CD to take home
with you. :

Lack
of sleep over a long period can have a major impact on
our daily lives. There is some debate between
professionals regarding the minimum amount of sleep
required to function properly. Some state 6 hours and
others state 8 hours. That information is of no
consequence if you really cannot sleep. If you find it
hard to fall asleep and or suffer with interrupted sleep
patterns, that result in long hours laying awake this
leads to frustration, exasperation and exhaustion.
